Arsene Wenger has confirmed Arsenal’s club captain could join Manchester City next season as part of incoming coach Pep Gaurdiola’s backroom staff.
Injuries have reduced Mikel Arteta to a bit-part role this season, with the 34-year-old having managed just 13 games in all competitions and none since January’s FA Cup third round win over Burnley.
‘It is possible,’ said Wenger when asked about the possibility of Arteta joining Manchester City.
